🚨 Important information: Please read through before ordering.🚨

NOTE: This is a made-to-order (MTO) retail item. Orders can take up to 3 weeks to be sewn up. Please note that shipments to the USA are picked up by UPS approximately 4x a month. All other countries ship immediately after completed.

👉 NOTE: Please be aware that these are not tailor made pants made to fit your exact body. This is a pattern and not all patterns fit all bodies. Please check measurements. This pattern is made relaxed through hips and thighs and tapers to more fitted in the calf. This pattern is more relaxed throughout versus the Slim Fit Jogger.

Also note that different colours react differently to the wool. This means that some will be "softer" and some will have differences in "stretch". This is normal and not a flaw. This means that different colours may fit slightly different than other colours

👉 CUFFS:  Currently there is no option to buy without cuffs. Do not make an order and request no cuffs. All orders will contain cuffs.

How to Order

STEP 1: Measure yourself

Take the following measurements:

  • High Hip at the hip bones
  • Hip (at the widest part)
  • Thigh Girth
  • Calf Girth
  • Inseam - please note that your inseam given is not the inseam the joggers are cut at. For the right fit the joggers will have a longer inseam than you specify. Please read down on how to measure your inseam.

Tape measure should NOT indent into your body (basically touching the body and not falling down).

If you are between sizes, I recommend sizing down. My measurements are high hip 35, full hip 40, calf 15, thigh 24 and natural waist 31. Due to the looser fit through the butt and thigh I made a straight size medium (no special grading) and love it. Had my calves been larger than 15 then they would have been snug.

STEP 2: Select Pant Size

Check size chart below and pick the overall pant size that best suit your measurements.

STEP 3: Select Inseam

Inseam is measured from crotch to BOTTOM of your ankle bone. Please make sure you measure and do not just go off of what you buy in jeans. Make sure to measure to just below your ankle bone.

An inseam of 29.5" is included in the price. You can add length to inseam for additional cost, or subtract inseam for free (just select the desired inseam here).

STEP 4: Pockets

Choose either in-seam pockets (as shown in the navy pants) or outer patch pockets. The in-seam pockets are made with 1 layer of cotton lycra/or merino jersey and 1 layer wool.

STEP 4: Custom Waistband

Waistband for relaxed joggers is measured at the high hip (hip bones). This is not the measurement used to pick your size (which is natural waist). As of December 1, 2020 the waistband has been updated to include elastic. The waistband is wool with an elastic band inside.

Each style of adult wool pants/capris/shorts offered comes from a pre-designed pattern. The sizes that are offered in each style are based solely upon a set of measurement ranges for each size. As such, just like a pair of pants you would buy from the store, a specific size of pants will fit one individual differently than another individual.

Please remember that while wool is wonderful and resilient, at the end of the day, it is a fiber. Various degrees of wear are going to be normal and entirely dependent on numerous factors. Amount of continuous wear, activities done in the pants, general fit, and overall care will all play a role in how well they last. Even something as simple as how you regularly sit or squat up and down can play a role in how various areas of your pants can begin to experience wear. Please feel free to contact an admin if you ever have concerns about premature wear in your pants, and we would love to troubleshoot with you!

A word about caring for your adult interlock items:
Interlock wool comes to you pre-felted; this is why many people feel comfortable washing it in machines. But, while machine washing won’t felt your interlock like it would your knits, it might tug and pull and stress the fabric, causing premature wear.

To give your HumBird interlock items their best life, we recommend hand-washing in Unicorn Beyond Clean, removing excess water using the towel method, and laying flat to dry.

See our Wool Care Guide for detailed instructions on caring for your HumBird wool.
